The First graph we made was a simple bar graph showing the likelihood of them being real:
This visualization paints a very different picture then the map. This graph shows that in actuality the majority of the locations are accurate the setting but with a large amount still being unlikely.
The next visualization we created was showing all of the states or country that show up in the Dime Novels as to show how much Missouri dominates the Dime Novels, an accurate reflection of the life of Jesse James:
This Graph shows just how much of that first graph are impacted by all the stories that have Jesse James’ home state appear. If you ignore Missouri over half of the “Yes” values go away.
