Many academic clubs like \u2018Der Deutsche Tisch\u2019 (The German Table) or social clubs like \u2018Mustache club\u2019 contributed to school spirit on campus, as well as coordinated events like gymnastics exhibitions and mock weddings. Some events like the tree planting still happen today! International clubs like the Carleton Cosmopolitan club also gathered people from similar identities or backgrounds to foster community. However, it&#8217;s important to note that some clubs perpetuated racist sentiments by changing their acronyms to \u2018KKK\u2019 even if the original was CCC.
