The Carleton Forensics Society is a student-run organization devoted to competitive speaking, primarily in the activity of debate. We compete in Parliamentary Debate, both on the local and national circuits. CFS is open to anyone with any level of experience with debate. We aim to enjoy ourselves while competing in a challenging activity, learning more about contemporary political (and sometimes non-political!) issues, and improving our speaking and debating skills.
