The Carleton Role Playing Association is a group dedicated to the promotion and active encouragement of role-playing games (RPGs) and role-playing activities at Carleton College. Our goal is to synthesize the creative, artistic, and technical skills of the RPG players and storytellers of all types on our campus to build an open, kindhearted, and safe community in which people can experiment with storytelling and mechanics, pick up an RPG for the first time, and have epic adventures with fantastic friends and characters.

Whether you're a first time player or a long time veteran, we're here to support you. First and foremost, that means helping you find a game! Whatever your comfort level and playstyle, there's a group for you, and we'll do what we can to get y'all connected. CRPA also coordinates Carleton's long-running tradition of midterm one shots, which are a great opportunity to try out some wild new system, test your mettle against a fiendish dungeon, or just vibe with a new group for a session.

Beyond these two main functions, we also help out with a bunch of RPG-related stuff: teaching how to play, reserving rooms, making characters, offering game supplies, providing GMing advice, playtesting, finding doppelgängers, mediating party conflicts, and really anything else that will help you live your best life while playing some RPGs.
