The Queens are the best and only stand-up comedy group at Carleton, and are the only organization at Carleton to be “Certified Fresh” by Rotten Tomatoes. Weekly meetings provide support in developing new stand-up material but mostly involve quibbling about show titles.
The group performs two entirely new shows every term, and goes to Applebee’s semi-regularly. We also sometimes host open mics for Carleton to try out their funny stuff.
Try-outs are held in the Fall. Fall-outs are held in the Spring.
