About.
We created this Digital Humanities (DH) project to understand and map the art events on the Carleton campus. Our group created an interactive way by exploring the Arts @ Carleton Calendar. This platform allows the public to understand better the Weitz Center for Arts and Creativity (the Weitz) and explore the events hosted by the Weitz over a Carleton term for students, staff, and beyond.
We have created a variety of different ways to understand the data we have collected by creating a word cloud, timeline, and sunburst chart. Our ultimate presentation of the project is an interactive map using ArcGIS StoryMaps.
