This data included numbers for freshmen men and women who applied, were admitted, and enrolled. However, one important thing to note is that some of the most recent years included numbers for non-binary people. However, we chose to exclude this data as the majority of the years did not have this section. We then used the data to perform several calculations, including acceptance rates and finding the totals (instead of split by gender).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Processing Data<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>After gathering and cleaning the data, we uploaded our CSV file into Flourish to create several visualizations that allowed us to view the admissions trends. Some of these visualizations had anomalies or interesting trends that we wanted to explore more.
