In October 2022, the U.S. Department of Education mandated that colleges cannot count incomplete applications in data collection, which colleges have done in previous years.\u201d (Culligan, <a href=\"https:\/\/thecarletonian.com\/17844\/news\/carleton-accepts-class-of-2027\/\">Carleton accepts class of 2027 \u2013 The Carletonian<\/a>).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>This raises the question of how accurate past data was.
