These visualizations zero in on admissions data from 2023, and they look at acceptance rate data by country. They use the primary citizenship of each student to determine where students are applying from. The data was organized in a pivot table in order to calculate the acceptance rate of each country. The first map uses Flourish to create a choropleth of the world. The circles on the map show how many students applied from each country and the shading shows the acceptance rate.
The following bar graph was also created using Flourish and highlights the top countries students are applying from. The red represents the number of students who were denied admission and the green represents accepted students.
