Data
For our project, all of the data we used was accessed through the Carleton Career Center and Office of Institutional Research and Assessment.
The IRA’s website gave us access to a data set titled “Top 50 Institutions where Carleton Graduates have Enrolled for Graduate Study (Class of 1990 to present).” The data set was released in 2015 and is publicly accessible via this link, and we have displayed it below for reference as well.

Additionally, through the Career Center, we were able to download publicly accessible Alumni Employment and Education Data across all majors. We chose to incorporate the data from only eight [8] of these data sets so our maps didn’t get too crowded. The majors we chose to use were Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Economics, English, History, Mathematics/Statistics, and Political Science/International Relations. The data sets for each can be viewed below and each image is linked to the original PDF.

In addition to the several interactive ArcGIS visualizations we created, we also generated some bar charts and other presentation visualizations to see how all the numbers actually looked next to each other. We used Rawgraphs.io to make the charts and have included some of them here for your reference while examining the data sets.
