Our Story
We started this project in our DGAH 110 class “Hacking the Humanities.” Our diverse perspectives and ideas have come together to make this project
Our Mission
With the upcoming renovations to the interior to Willis, our goal for this project is simple, preserve the past to educate the future. Willis carries the history and Carleton college in every brick, and the ability to immerse future students and professors about what the building that is so key in their life was like is key to preserving it’s legacy. With an interactive timeline, 3D model, and virtual tour, we hope to educate you on every aspect of Willis Hall!

Using Digital Humanities to Model History
An important part of maintaining the vast culture and history of Willis Hall is looking at the events that happened to and in the building. We used Flourish to create an interactive timeline to document the change and importance of the building.
