Presentation Choices

Our goal was to digitally capture the building in its current state before it undergoes another round of renovations, preserving a snapshot of the Willis as it exists today. We chose to present our project through WordPress because it is both accessible and familiar to members of our class, making it an effective platform for sharing interactive digital content. WordPress also allowed us to organize our materials clearly and present the 3D model and mapping components in a way that is easy for viewers to navigate. Since our intended audience includes future Carleton students as well as faculty and the broader campus community, using a widely accessible web platform ensures that the project can be easily viewed and explored over time. In this way, our presentation choice supports the broader goal of the project: documenting and preserving an important campus space before its next transformation.
